Some of my friends in the adoption world have started a new ministry called Hands that Heal. It is so amazing! Basically they are arranging medical visas and medical treatment for Haitian children. These children have loving families in Haiti, but they do not have the means to provide for their precious children. So Rebekah and Lori have started this ministry to arrange for free travel and surgeries. To view their website, click here. Even if you are not able to host a child or give money, you can pray specifically for these children. You can follow their progress from needing a host family, the actual surgery, and then their homecoming. So although these children are not technically orphans, I had to post this!
